Can I see the growing puppies on a daily basis?
We know transparency is key in building relationships with our new families. During the 8 weeks the puppies are with us you will have exclusive access to a shared google photo album. We add pictures and videos on a daily basis starting before birth when the puppies are visible moving in mamas belly. We even add what we can in real time during delivery! You will be able to follow the puppies growth and get to know their individual personalities. We also respond to texts and direct messages as quickly as possible.
What does my puppy come home with?

- Small bag of dry kibble.
- Fi nano microchip.
- Thirty days of pet insurance through Trupanion (you must complete the sign up).

Are your dogs health tested?
YES! We use Embark for breeders to screen for over 200 genetic health risks. Our dogs also undergo regular physical evaluations by a reproductive veterinarian specialist and receive OFA certifications for breed-specific concerns such as patellar luxation, hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia, and cardiac health. Additionally, we take them to a board-certified veterinary ophthalmologist for exams to screen for canine eye diseases.*
The comprehensive health testing we undertake is one of the key aspects that sets us apart from other breeders. This level of testing is both costly and time consuming, and our pricing reflects this commitment. Should any of our potential breeding dogs fail these rigorous tests, we remove them from our program, which involves significant expense on our part. We take immense pride in the thoroughness of our health screening and believe it is vital to ensuring the well-being of our puppies and the integrity of our breeding program.
*Sometimes, we use a male dog for breeding before OFA allows official final evaluations to be certified and recorded. In such cases, we do preliminary evaluations that provide proven reliable results but are not officially certified through OFA and are not publicly recorded and searchable on the OFA website.
Can I meet the parents?
We really appreciate that you’re doing your due diligence in wanting to meet the parents. However, it’s a little complicated because most live in guardian homes and may not be available at the time of pickup. What we can do is provide plenty of pictures and detailed information about their health, temperament, and personality. Our foundation mama, Millie, will be here when you pick up your puppy. She’s friendly and loves meeting new people, so she’ll be excited to greet you! If this is a concern, let us know, and we can discuss any arrangements we might be able to make.
Does my puppy come with a health guarantee?
Yes. We offer a one year guarantee for genetic life threatening health conditions. The complete terms are written into our contract.
Will you ship my puppy?
Most of our new families are out of state, so we offer a few options to help with getting your puppy home. We can meet you at Raleigh Durham International Airport (RDU) for pickup. We can also connect you with flight nanny services, where your puppy will travel in the cabin with the nanny. Occasionally, we’re available to personally deliver the puppy for an additional fee.
*Please note that we WILL NOT ship puppies via cargo for any reason.*
Do you remove dew-claws?
No, we do not remove dew-claws. We do not think removing the dew-claw is what’s best for the puppy.
Do you dock tails?
No. We will not dock tails under any circumstance.
