Our breeding dogs are genetically tested for over 200 health risks as well as physically evaluated and OFA certified. Genetic testing provides valuable information about hereditary conditions while OFA certifications provide a thorough evaluation of physical health and structure. We do not breed our dogs until they are on their 2nd or 3rd heat cycle and they are at least 18 months of age. Because the latest research shows it is best to breed back to back, our dogs will “retire early”, usually by the time they are 4 years old.
